Francis Hotel is Now The Schneider House of Hope

The old St. Francis Hotel located at 124 S. Detroit Street in Xenia, Oh was donated to the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) on November 27, 2002 by Brad and Eric Montgomery of the Montgomery Insurance Investment agency, 114 S. Detroit Street, Xenia, Oh. The renovation was completed in 2010 with the first hosting o our guests on June 27, 2010. The Building Dedication, Ribbon Cutting and Open House was held on August 1, 2010 complete with free spaghetti dinner. More pictures of the renovation process are available at Renovation Pictures.

Some of the work on the Schneider House of Hope

was dependent on available funds,

but most of the work was completed through self-help by volunteers.
